Sausage, Spin, Bodypump, Soup
Last night I made Trader Joe’s sweet Italian chicken sausage for dinner.

These sausages are super lean. I cooked them on the George Foreman grill, and not a drop of grease came out of them. The grill looked practically clean when I removed them.

They were delicious, too. At only $3.99, I think they are a good deal. I know we’ve paid more for fancy chicken sausages at Publix before.

I let the boys try a few of these for dessert:

Chad tried them too and said they are awesome (of course). They are really small crispy wafers with creamy chocolate inside. I didn’t try them because I was waiting for pumpkin ice cream for dessert…along with a beagle and some Dawson’s Creek.

I didn’t realize that season six was going to be a Freaks ‘n’ Geeks reunion, with both Busy Phillips and Seth Rogen! Chad had to work (from home) all last night, so I was on my own with television.
This morning Chewie and I walked Mack to school.

It was just the tiniest bit cooler and less humid this morning. Not much. A little. But enough for people to be commenting on it on Facebook. I was still sweating by the end of our two mile leisurely walk. It still got up to 90° today. So nothing to get too excited about. There is lots of wishful thinking going on in Florida this time of year while all our northern friends are posting about chilly mornings and fall fashion.
Once we got home and Cal left, I made my breakfast. It was exactly the same as yesterday.

Then I went to the gym for spin class.

My friend Britt joined me, as usual. We always enjoy chatting and sweating together.

It’s really hard to take a picture of the middle of your own back. #PROOF

After spin, I went to Bodypump in a dry shirt.

Then I went home just to throw a pork tenderloin into the crockpot, then ran out to Target for a few things.

I’m a sucker for pretty package.

On the way home from Target I picked Mack up from school (early release day) and when we got home he got to try out something that I bought him.

A new scooter! His old one was having major issues. Riding it to school every day for several years pretty much killed it.
While he did homework, I had lunch.

In just a minute we have to go get Cal. I’m blogging a little early today because I’m going out with my friend Christie tonight. We are meeting with the General Motors PR people about some hopefully fun opportunities in the future. Yay for short blog posts!
Cya!

I love a good sweaty photo post-workout! The sausages look so yum
Have a wonderful rest of the day!
You swimming tonight? I am dog sitting so I can’t.
Now I want those soups. The cans are awesome.
P.S. How crazy was it at Trader Joes? Worth it?
No, not swimming tonight. I have a meeting with the GM PR people. Hopefully more fun opportunities for the #TBLB will be coming up! Trader Joe’s was total crazy on Saturday afternoon. But we still had fun. I think it’s worth it. I need to go back and buy more frozen “lite” mac & cheese. That stuff was awesome.
Those sausages sound like the type I would like I do not like sausages that are full of fat……….I also have a George Foreman grill and I love it in fact I have two a small one and a large one……
The best part about living in Florida is the winters. That is why I moved there. I am originally from Indiana and I had to move away from the snow. I absolutely love Florida winters. So while everyone is complaining about the snow we will still be out in flip flops. We will always have the winters.
Absolutely! I can’t wait for December-March! It’s right now, the dog days of summer while everyone else is starting fall, that are the worst.
I love those sausages, try the chicken/apple…it’s my favorite!
I’ll put that on my list for next time! Thanks!
