I’m from Planet Jump

This morning I made french toast for the boys rather than going out, as we seem to have a glut of bread around here (Nature’s Own was BOGO at Publix yesterday). Then we went to the gym where I did 20 minutes (200 calories) on the elliptical and bodypump class. Then I came home and immediately did my C25K training. I have felt amazing all day after all that. My left knee is still bothering me a little bit, but motrin makes it feel normal and it actually feels better after running, so I’m not going to worry about it. Chad is worrying about it, though. He’s afraid I’m going to become addicted to running and disregard the long-term health of my knees. Pshaw.

This afternoon one of Mack’s friends had a birthday party at Planet Jump. If you have kids, you know these places. Lots of ginormous inflatables and hundreds of overexcited sweaty kids running everywhere. Both boys at one point claimed to be severely injured, then moments later were off and running and bouncing and sliding again.

Mack is really serious about air-hockey. You can see he has one of his trademark lip-bite game faces going on:

The blur in this photo is Mack’s good friend Molly. I’m so glad I got her mom’s permission to put her photo on my blog, so that I didn’t have to photoshop her into a blur.

And this is the birthday girl, Meg. She is such a sweetheart.

Now I’m off to make some more of Jillian Michael’s muffins and about 10 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to stick in the freezer. Gotta use up that bread.
